As we left Maldon a lady told us "Ow, the a a few hills on the way to Inglewood," I for. She omitted to say they were all down! Again, a glorious day. Good Friday, and as we arrived in Inglewood we could hear music- it turned out to be a community gathering at the Town Hall to which we were warmly welcomed. As is typical in Vic, Good Friday is the day for raising funds for the Children's Hospital. Inglewood held a fish bbq. We were seized upon by Meg & Jack (pictured), grandchildren of the organiser. "We are having a sleepover at Nans, because she has Easter eggs". Jack started picking up butts off the street and putting them in the bin, so we heard about Pop not smoking anymore, then how Jack got butted by a ram, hence the sore on his face!No doubt about country kids!Great host at the v an park - took us into town for dinner. Very hospitable. Set off early for Bridge on Loddon where we had breakfast then it was 85 kms, straight road, great temp and tail winds. Sailed through J for Jarklin - just a pub, which is for sale but we had a drink and ate our two day buns, box of tomatoes and the last of our bananas- fruit fly area coming up in 40kms. Tonight we are in Pyramid Hill and just off to the Easter ceremonies at the local church.
